There's a reddit or 4chan or something group that does this with Gene Wilder's BBC death announcement like every 6 months.
I guess they just ping it somehow enough times that it rises to their number 1 viewed article and it goes mini viral again from there as folks have already forgotten he passed a couple years ago.
