Friend just dumped her Prius due to its habit of dropping dead going down the road.
Toyota service explanation of this chronic and recurring problem? Nearby Mercedes Benz cars turn off Priuses (Prius's? Priy?). Also, driving by banks with atms can cause a Prius to turn off.

...lolwat? If that were true, here in the Atlanta suburbs a Prius would be living life a quarter mile at a time. Vin Diesel would shed a tear.

Hahahaha, my brother was visiting and had a code on his Priiussususs. I suggested disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to possibly clear the code.
Had to have it towed to Toyota because of the anti-theft feature . . .
