That is from when Honda knew how to do styling. Even the Greddy stuff isn't over the top frilly
I've actually seen two different Westfalia Euro Vans this weekend in different parts of Connecticut, and both were just doing normal daily driver type stuff.
Through work I met this someone who's father just inherited this 1977 that was bought new.
I did not realize that for the first 2 years these offered a 250 straight six. I can't say I've ever seen on looking so low spec.

It's actually Suzuki Alto Lapin - also a very popular grey-imported kei-car in mid-2010s.

No pics, but at one traffic signal, during one cycle today the 90's came back: clean Fox 5.0 hatch on stock 10-holes, super clean 993 Carrera, and a reasonably clean Buick Reatta.
I too saw an amazing Reatta. Coming down the hill the other day I first noticed a Dakar Gelb E36 M3 Vert but behind it was a super fresh Reatta.
Then yesterday I saw a BRG Type 34 which is by far the best looking ACVW.
Oh springtime! The nice ones are emerging. I saw a DeTomaso Pantera in Pittstown NJ about an hour ago. Red with broad white stripes and a total bumper delete, so no idea what year it was. It sounded strong.

No pics, but this morning I was at Ohio State University's surplus furniture warehouse to "liberate" some metal bed frames and headboards for underserved families. Next door is the back lot of OSU's Center of Automotive Research where I spied a red General Motors EV-1. Guess they didn't crush all of them
