And saw this the same day while I was out hunting breakfast while my wife was having surgery.

I was not allowed to stay at the hospital per covid.

I drive by a US Army Reserve Ctr when I drop my son at school and they have some of those + some other cool stuff. I should stop and see if they let me take one for a spin

Pre COVID I would bet they would let you check them out and possibly get a ride.

The one on the left is a much younger and MUCH thinner me.

Ignore my terrible photo, but I've never seen one in person.  At the golf course day before yesterday. 

Yesterday at lunch on a deck in San Diego I saw an Audi MK1 TT sans rear spoiler drive by. Serious unicorn if you know the story.

Short form story:

The Audi TT was first designed by an artist, not an engineer. IMO it is a beautiful car, but it had some serious inherent problems with aero. Basically it lifted at speed and was not great...at all. So, I think, they recalled it and added a subtle rear lip spoiler on it IF you honored the recall.

I think there are numbers for those that did not get the recall spoiler and they are very few.

Sketchy car to drive at speed I guess, but sweet for cruising around Point Loma at slow speeds.

90's RS cavalier drop top with period aftermarket wheels. Besides the peeking clear coat on the hood and the one discolored headlight it looked pretty good for a throw away 30 year old GM being driven in the Salt season.
