Yup, same car, chatted with the guy. I think his brother or someone is previous owner. He just flew up to Mass and drove it back to sell. Vintage races MGs.

That it made it from 1983 intact makes it rare, let alone it runs and drives, out of an abandonedment auction. A 5 speed swap in these is easy.
