So I was on the PassionFord.com website and found a hot Escort and posted it in the box flare thread. But while looking through the dude's build thread he has a picture titled "New 909 Air Injectors" and the following pictures:

rest of the build thread

So my question: Is this some sort of "anti-lag" or emissions...? I've seen it on a couple other cars on that website but no one mentions it.

It looks like it's going from the vacuum actuator for the waste gate to the compressor housing. Still trying to wrap me head around it.

It's as useful as it is well made.

You know how a manual boost controller works, right? It bleeds pressure from the WGA.

The "air injectors" do the same, but are controllable by the ECU.

Great find for the how do they work thread, interesting yet short read.

Looks like it's some odd way to control boost.

I was going to say anti lag, since I know Cosworth Racing was working out a air/fuel exhaust injection purely for anti lag in their rally cars, but seeing how that's plumbed, not sure what that one is about.

The bottom end isn't really being shown...
