When I win the lottery, I'm going to build a collection of late 60s early 70s Trans Am cars.  Big ones as well as little.

GTV will be at the top of the list.

Heck yea!  I love the original Trans Am, and love reading about it.  Of course, have a special spot for the U2 or U25 / BS cars.  Alfas, BMW, Escorts, later the Datsuns, Minis, Bugs- the list of small cars is pretty something.

Way back, I had suggested a Trans Am section of the Challenge, as I had a '67 GT Jr to make into a car.  But....  Always a but, isnt it?

Even with that, there were some old TA cars, IIRC, there was a Dart or Cuda or something like that in '04, and there have been a few original Mustangs.  And then AC's Corvair that was painted like a Penske TA.

You could have a big collection. Alfas, Datsuns, even Pintos and VW bugs.

I loved the Darts and big rear window Cudas.

Volvo 544...

It would need a big storage building.

The B-sedan group at VARA is pretty much either 2002s, 510s & some GTVs thrown in for good measure.

One thing I would think would be interesting is to get a good road version of each car and just drive.  My Alfa is such a pleasure to drive- it's a true grand touring car.  Miles are just absorbed with regularity, and the twisties are just a blast.  While not perfect, Alfa did a great job with the live axle to make it ride and behave really well.  I'm actually looking forward to the ride when I put it back to stock springs.
