2009? G37S PRHT 6MT. My son in-laws new ride.
I'm picking up some factory issue forged Rays with snow tires for him tomorrow in the correct staggered fitment.

Now he is thinking about a tuner, have any of you used one on a G car or Z car. Uprev seems to be the goto Nissan tuner and the usual hypertech covers all makes. Glen is an it guy so he could probably figure out the whole datalog, e-mail and reflash routine if needed.
Oh yeah, one more thing he needs some mufflers for it, the delete that it came with is getting old.
I don’t know about the tuners but a friend put a set of Borla’s on his Maxima and it sounded fantastic. I think it had the bigger motor in it. A 3.5 maybe???? I don’t know a lot about these cars but his sure sounded great!!!
Honestly, Not really worth the cost for a tuner. Only way to get any real additional HP is to go deep into the motor with either cams or turbos.
But if I had to buy a tuner, Up-Rev is the only decent one left. Everything else isn't even worth getting. But even with the Up-Rev, It's only going to be 10-15 HP max for $600-700 spend.

I'm a G37 owner too and looked into tuners. That was the general consensus I found too, not much to be gained with the VQ on a flash tune.
I do wish I had the funds to put a good exhaust on it. I love the low rpm growl, and with a good exhaust, it sounds fabulous.
