So finance manager gave the go-ahead to try and aquire the $500 Tiburon with snapped t-belt. Local u-pull it has 11 different cars with 2.7's on the lot and heads are $26 each head gaskets are about $9 each. Timing belt kit is $33. Best case It's back on the road for $533. Worst case its back on the road for just over $600.
Oooh... car is in play. more pictures coming tonight. With a starting budget of $600, headers/intake/exhaust, coilovers are all well within the budget!
Then there's 2020 One Lap. I haven't been this excited in ...... weeks!

Sadly it has a sunroof so it's heavier but that could come out.
Cool, it's of the era with the shark gills on the side. I always thought that was a neat feature.
Tiburon is Spanish for Shark.
I'm already seeing the fog lights gone for brake ducts in my mind.
