Sadly out of my reach now. Got to sit in one in 2001 and it was cool.

This is likely the only car from that year I could afford now. frown

Except that is a 1955 T-Bird, the first year of T-birds.

My choice for the year I was born.

1955, so almost all British, a few American, and some of the affordable Italian.
I've owned several of the more desirable models of that era in the past, kick myself several times every Sunday for letting them go.

Now that you all know my age, does anyone REALLY imagine they are going to "Reform"
me?

I have been haphazardly trying to find a car from my birth year for decades. Finaly lucked out when I uncoverd the serial number on the Bugeye Sprite i am building and learned that it was a 1960.

Talk about a good way to create confusion as to how old you are!

Or, you could say the Checker Taxi.

In a world of 1 to 10, the vast majority are between 3 and 7, yet we tend to talk to each other like we are either 1 or 10

That looks like a '62 or '63.

Well, the 1st year Corvette is cool and all, but given a blank check I would probably come home with a 1953 MB 300s Roaster.

1985, so a few 80's gems to pick from, but I'd probably go with:

The original M5 made it's debut for 1985.

Of course, I wouldn't kick another debut model out of the garage either...
