So my illuminas are worn out (along with lots of other things) in my miata. I have GC coilvers 400 front 330 rear if I remeber right.
So. Question is stick withtthe illuminas? Go with some hd bilsteins? Or just find a complete hard s setup?
Cars now turning into a mostly daily again. of course cheaper is better, so koni is not the answer.

How much more are konis than illuminas? If they were double, I'd still go with konis. Why not get the koni strt? They are about $85 ea from tirerack.
Because the koni strt wont hold the springrates. Ots just a factory replacement.
Konis are way too much. About double.
Illuminas have a lifetime warranty if you bought them new. Of course, there aren't any available right now in the US, but once they come back you should contact your vendor.

All the cool kids on a budget seem to like the 10AE Bilsteins + ebay springs
I got the Konis for around $600 shipped, seemed like a fair deal to me. It actually rides much better on the street now too.

If you can wait, koni usually has a 20% off deal every winter/ early spring.
Thats a shame keith. I might have voided the warrenty with the coilovers....but who knows.
Didnt know anout the sale. 20% would help a lot.
Depends who sold them, Jax. As long as there aren't tool marks on the shaft, we'll usually get them warrantied. If you bought them from a random eBay seller, well, there's your savings.
I got them from moss I think. I was young and dumb. Lol. Emailed them. Ive got a bit of time. Still have to rebuild the rest of the car...
