I squeezed 340,000 out of my 96 Saturn SW1.  At 230K I had to pull the head and drop the pan to replace the piston rings.  I ended up scraping the car a few months ago because it had been abused to the point where nearly everything on the car was FUBAR.   Even though the car was seriously berkeleyed, the  original clutch was still fine.   Anyway, the car went to the junkyard with the original axles, struts,  exhaust, radiator.  The rebuilt engine was still running perfect.  That Saturn was probably the best car I ever owned.

My little truck, a 94 toyota 22re still going strong at 272k miles. Affectionately known as "50 shades of grey" from all the different colors of grey paint.  Passes california smog no problem.

My current highest mileage unit is a 2000 s 10 blazer, 307,200 miles. I got it last month from a lady friend that bought it new. It has had 5 or 6 front wheel bearings replaced, shocks , brakes, ball joints etc. Tomorrow the original heater core and radiator are being replaced. This is what the cooling system looks like.

Just bought a 2000 Silverado with 207,000 miles on it a few weeks ago! So far so great...5.3 Vortec is a champ, and the prior owner replaced most of the worn out mechanicals.

The body rust will get it eventually, however!

My first vehicle was an 86 Toyota pickup my dad bought for 50 bucks. The 22r had 380k on it when the odo broke. Other then a head gasket I drove it for 2 years that way. I love those little slugs of an engine.

My 90 ranger is almost at 200k I believe.

You're gonna leave it at that? No details? Come on, they say if there are no pictures then it didn't happen. wink

The 02 ranger is up to 207k. A whopping thousand more miles than when I bought it. If current mileage is to be believed, the gas its used to get there is pretty close to the original sticker price by now.

'86 Quantum Syncro, odometer just rolled over 350k. I know for a fact that the odo was inop when I bought the car (it read 268k) and after I fixed the odometer (set it to 298k), there was an additional 7500 mile period where the speedo cable was broke. Basically, 350k is as good a guess as any.

I replaced the rearend about 50k (actual) ago because I thought it was noisy. It wasn't. Engine, trans, and clutch are original. Engine has the compression of a Briggs & Stratton with the E-Z-Start mechanism stuck on - coast for miles in gear with the engine off.

just rolled over 206k. Bought this one at 147k indicated. It similarly went about 10-15k with an inop speedo after transmission debris took out the speedo drive and driven gears. It's had... many engines, transmissions, and rearends. It came with a severely worn out 12A, blown struts, body damage, and a bent rearend. Much work has been done.

Just an update.

Quantum was registering around 375k when it went to the Great Granola-fier in the Sky.

Replaced it with a 1st-gen Volvo S40.  "Sold" that to EvanB, pretty sure it had over 200k on it at the time, but if not then I am sure he will pick up the slack.

Now have a Volvo S60.  R, because I have iron-rich blood pumping through my veins.  Rolled past 200k last week.  Had to loan the car to an aunt while I drove her 47k-old Fit in for service, and she noted how new and tight the car felt.

Black RX-7 (aka "Thing 1") is at about 250k.

Updating from my post 04/28.15.

The 03 Jetta now has 334K,  Somehow the tie rod has gotten bent. I am buying a parts car with a blown engine for $200 that has a bunch of good parts.  The Jetta still has the original clutch!

The 2013 Mini that replaced the Jetta as my wife's DD just turned 100,000K.  Stuff replaced, brakes ( 2X ), Headlight bulbs ( 2X ),  Plugs and wires.

The Suburban has 327,000M.

The 89 S10 blazer has been put out to pasture as has the 89 C1500.  Both still run I just don't use them anymore.

But wait there is more, the 250 still shows 56000.laugh

I just realized my oldest car is my lowest mile car. the '87 GTA only has 140k miles.

My '96 Dodge 1500 has 313k miles but doesn't have the original 318 or 46re anymore.

The '99 SL1 is at 224k miles and might even have the original clutch for all I know.

My current Volvo 240 is at 298,000 and is pictured working for its keep. My immediate predecessor 240 succumbed to tin worm at 464,558, with all mechanicals kept as spares. No significant oil consumption, head never off, syncros still reasonable in 5 speed. The Mini is not mine.

Just sold my 2008 f250 with 320k+ miles on it. 5.4 v8, 4x4, cab and a half. The only things it needed outside of typical up-keep was exhaust manifold/studs, front hubs, and ball joints. I worked that truck constantly and would buy another in a heart beat. Wasn’t fancy but it just worked all the time.

If I remember right I sold an 95 F150 with about 260k on it a few years ago and the boardmember that bought it drove it away.

My 99 Miata has 240k on the odometer but the 2000 motor in it has half that so I guess it doesn't count.

My E30 had about 360K on the original engine/trans before I swapped it with an M52/ZF. The old M20 ran fine and I felt bad yanking it out (well, not that bad). I sold that stuff to a guy that was going to use it as spares for his Spec E30.

I bought another E30 to use for parts and that one still runs great at 270K. I can safely say that NONE of the modern BMW's that I've owned would ever make it those distances without bankrupting me first.

My Nissan truck has around 400k on it.  Engine rebuilt and the head was done twice.  It was my DD until a year or two ago.  My son is DDing it but I never hear from him.

06 Scion xB, 206,000 miles and counting

Replaced alternator, starter, ac compressor, camshaft position sensor, crank position sensor, and a bunch of secondary emissions crap.

Strangely enough it's still on the same rear shoes that it came from the factory with.

At 413,000 my Malibu was still on the original rears as well. They may have been helped by the rear of the car continuously flaking off and getting lighter.
