Joking aside. Driverless drifting maybe one way to get me more interested in drifting. Right now my interest goes no further than the latest Ken block video. But two or three robot cars, running independently and drifting inches apart is something I would be interested in seeing. At least until the technology matured then I would lose interest again.

I saw a video a long time ago (and there ain't any way I'm about to try to look for it) where some guys were running the Standard Japanese Drift Vehicle (Nissan Silvia) and doing things like drifting in tight figure 8s around people walking, getting out of the car and "chasing" it as it spun around in lazy circles, and paring apples with a knife attached to the bumper.

I really do wish I could find it, because it was fascinating on a technical level.  Slow motion car control is way more interesting to me than high speed tire smoke billowing nonsense.
