I'm presuming you are looking for 4-stroke pistons, not 2-stroke? Do you need 2 valve reliefs or 4?  I don't know for certain, my own bikes jump from 49mm (250cc four) to 79mm bore (350cc single) and 80mm bore (550cc twin.)  My best advice is to look at older (less oversquare 70's/80's bikes) 200ish cc singles, 350-400ish cc twins, or 750ish fours. If you go more modern (more oversquare) you might need to adjust the displacement down to 150ish/300ish/600ish. Hope this helps!

there are sites that sell pistons for cars Summit racing, Jegs, Speedway etc  that give bore pin size, combustion chamber, etc

are there similar sites for motor cycles?  where will I find them?

Yes, a simple flat top  for a 4 stroke motor.
