Sweet looking WR. Where you goin' with them thar flip flops on the back?

Zig Zag Lake out in Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

The hike down was, umm, interesting. 600ft decent in about a half mile. 7 giant logs across the "trail". But we had the entire place to ourselves, which is unheard of on a sunny Saturday this close to Portland.

My wife's choice in footwear was suspect, to say the least...

We hauled the DSLR out, too. So high res shots will be in the Adventure thread whenever that happens.

That is sharp.

How are they comfort-wise? And for cost of parts and maintenance?

Thanks. The firm seat, long reach to bars, slippery foot pegs and knee bend all start to bug me after about 3 hours on the road. Most of that can be modified, but I won't bother. When I got it, every fluid on board was leaking. After a few new gaskets and hoses, etc., it only leaks when I brag about it not leaking. Parts availability is good from AF1 racing, which also has a great Falco section on their forum. Parts pricing balances out as decent. I enjoy working on it. It's pretty clear when it needs something.

Tw200? With a copper tubing seat frame? Looks totally bad ass but if that is actually copper I would fear bumps. I repeat that I love the styling though.

The mono shock conversion is super sweet.

A lot of very cool bikes. I just started riding this summer so here is my deeply uncool Honda Nighthawk 250. I still love it though.

You're deluded if you think that's the ugliest Guzzi ever. It's not even CLOSE to as ugly as this one...
that is bad. My bike is getting better -

Hi, new here but I've been around a while. Been a reader/contributor to GRM and CMS for a while now and our shop does some work with Tim occasionally.

I have 2 bikes, my first is this 1971 Honda CB350:

This bike was a rusty POS when I got it, and it slowly transformed over a period of about 18 months into what you see here (this pic was taken early fall of this past year). Half of the bike got thrown away, although luckily the engine had good compression and hasn't had to come apart yet. I did everything on the bike except make the seat (Hotwing Glass) and do the pinstriping (Nick Hardie, local hot rod guru, painter and letter-man extraordinare, and all-around nice guy). The frame is actually a take on an old Harley Davidson racing orange that I got as a leftover from when Nick painted a race car.

I certainly wouldn't recommend it for a first bike, even though it's what I did. It was probably stupid of me, and it's probably not as reliable as a modern bike for learning and daily riding, but hell... it's fun.

And of course, one parallel-twin, drum-brake, older-than-me bike wasn't enough, and since I primarily work on British cars at the shop... I just picked up a 1965, titled 66, Norton Atlas the summer before last. It's still in need of a bit of sorting, but it's getting there. Props to my daughter for being my model. I dread the day she wants to ride it for real...

And sadly, because it's Michigan and it's winter, here they are sleeping and dreaming of spring.

Finished my LeMans a couple weeks ago:

Time to start on the next project, a 1975 Ducati 860GT. I have a pair of these, this is the worst one. The other is still roadworthy.

Once I get the motor torn down and find out why it's stuck, I'll figure out what I'm doing with it. Probably going to have to re-mortgage the house to rebuild a Ducati bevel.
