For those that missed my post in the other section, I was invited by Ford (along with 7 other hardcore Ford ST facebook fans) to be a part of a special commercial shoot/launch event called "Coast 2 Coast in 2 minutes" starring Tanner Foust and Greg Tracy (and the 2013 Focus ST) in Key West last week. To say I had a blast would be an understatement; every pic I've seen of myself from the trip shows me grinning ear to ear the entire time.

In any case, I thought I'd share some of the pics and videos I got from the event here. And when the article I wrote for Ford Social's page is available I'll post the link to that too.

Here's the stuff I've got up so far...

There's some other folks' footage from the "Coast 2 Coast" commercial shoot on youtube now, but I'll post mine when I get it edited/uploaded/hosted.

I love Key West! Probably a great place to film commercials, too. I am certain that you enjoyed your downtime as well. Did you catch Hog's Breath Saloon and Capt. Tony's?

Funny you should mention "downtime", 'cause there wasn't any really, unless you took it out of your sleep or meal times. Otherwise there was stuff going on back to back the entire time. The day of the shoot, we did have a couple hours in the morning to get breakfast and visit the "beaches", but that was quickly followed by a pre-production meeting, camera tech, etc., followed by time with the cars taking pics and watching 'em prep them for the shoot, followed by lunch, followed by time with Tanner and some behind the scenes stuff, followed by a relatively early dinner, followed by a quick scheduling/coordination meeting, followed by filming (from 8:30am-12:30am), followed by post-production data dump, followed by the "after party" at the Green Parrot until 4am, followed by packing, breakfast, airport, home by 1pm. Wham, bam, damn!

Please tell me that you convinced Tanner to come to the $2012 Challenge!

Well the commercial went live today... playing on G4 (during E3 coverage) and SyFy apparently. But instead of sitting around waiting for it to appear, here it is on youtube:

BTW, look for my oh-so-brief appearance at 00:29.
