I got my "discount code" but I don't know how much it is for, which makes shopping a bit difficult. Also, is it good for subscriptions? I tried pasting it in but it didn't seem to do anything.

Been following along and there are a whole lot of really talented people here.  Did this as a kid but my talent for this is far below everyone here and then there is the time to do it.  So it was actually exciting to live vicariously through others watching this!!!
