The cheap $30-50 ones, IR controlled via controller or iPhone.

Decent indoor flyers or cheap junk?

What's the difference between the S102G, 107, 109 or 111 - just the bodies?

I started with the little syma choppers... they are fun, fly decently, but are no where near as fun and realistic as a full on 4+ channel chopper.

We got a couple of Syma 107 choppers at work (in an aircraft hangar), and before you knew it, there were about 15 of them flying around. Everybody loved them. We flew them, crashed them, modified them, and crashed them some more. Great fun for $22.00 each (Amazon price).

I bought one recently and it gets airborne fine. The problem with it is that everytime you fly it you have to "trim" it. That means that you have to adjust the spin to neutral and then you have a little time to attempt some forward motion and turns. Mine uses IR control. I think with some practice it would be more enjoyable.

I have a 107 after the boss bought one & let me try it out at work. Good fun for $20-30.
