My dad had a Triumph back in the mid sixties. Apparently one evening he flipped it into a ditch. The next day he posed for this pic.

Starting to look less like a German economy sedan. Headroom even with the stock seat, enough leg room I won't have to curve the harness bar, although I might anyway, because I might have to fit in it occasionally, too.

That black one is an Austin A40 Dorset. I just missed (28 minutes) being born in an Austin A40 Devon, same color as picture too.

My mother rolled Dad's Devon when she was pregnant with me and then she rear ended Dr. Middleton, the doctor who delivered me, driving the replacement Devon they bought after rolling the first one. I was standing on the trans tunnel in the back seat for that one. For some reason I'm sentimental about them........
Found this pic of a '49 Chevy Coupe in MO while searching for rat rods; it feels like it would go with an album about like, the steady decline and foregone death of rural America or something, like the only album made by a guy who has no choice but to work in the city he doesn't like.
Main Street in my town, about 40 years ago. Which means that Datsun was 10-15 years old when this was taken.

I find that absolutely unbelievable. A 15 year old Datsun that people weren't afraid to drive in the snow, and it wasn't rusted to dust?
