Patrick Bedard wrote a column once about being at Chrysler as a junior engineer when they were working on that car. He designed a lovely light wing, and his boss said "This is for a damn stock car! Make it sturdy as hell."

Unfortunately lost in a crash while landing. I believe it was a the result of only one flap going down (!).
They are attempting to rebuilt it. Pretty sure they are not working with a lot of original parts!
