For some reason my phone has suddenly started cycling WiFi connection off and on. It's on for 2 seconds then off for a few seconds, over and over. I restarted the phone, nothing. I made the phone "forget" the router and reconnected it, nothing. Everything else in my house seems to be working fine. What gives?
The phone is a Motorola, relatively new (though not a high end one).

I'm going to go with sometimes things break. Have you tried it on a different wifi network just to double check?
If it's just the phone and restarting doesn't fix it, the remaining options are limited. Any major OS updates recently? If an update didn't cause it, the remaining options are "factory-reset the phone" and "toss the phone." If the same thing happens on other wifi networks that again would tell us it's either a hardware problem (on your single-board SoC computer) or a driver issue (which would've been introduced by an OS update).
Thanks! I'm not sure if it's doing it on other networks as it just started happening. I'll go out later and find a free wifi to connect to and see what happens. The phone is only a few months old, so hopefully it's still under warranty.
you might post something on howardforums.com
Thats the big forum for phone geeks !
