Reminded me of the movie Ruthless People.
Watch out... I have spent at least as much on audio gear as the TV itself. And that's just a receiver and 2 speakers. Those 2 speakers I built myself. If I were to have bought an equivalent set of speakers, it probably would be twice as much on audio gear as on the TV. When I can finally build the sub and center channel and surrounds and related amplification, I'll probably spend another 2-3 TVs worth.
My home's sound improved immensely when the kids moved out.
