"No one will hit it if you fold the mirror in."
I had just hopped out of bed and walked into the living room when, "BOOM".
The driver apparently fell asleep. No seat belt, so she hit the windshield, but was OK. Left in the ambulance. All vehicles at my house were involved. The F150 has one wheel, hub, and rotor off so it is on a jack and jack-stand. It wasn't hit hard enough to move it luckily.
In that last picture, that is my dad, there. He drove 40 min to check things out.
Time to call the insurance company and start looking for Bertha Jr's replacement.
Hey, E36 M3 happens. Just an inconvenience now. I'll have to finish putting U-Joints in the F150.

Wow she clobbered that thing good. Nice that you weren't in It.
Looks like that wasn't the first thing she it, judging by the paint scheme on her car.

Judging by the primered nose of that Civic, this was a repeat offense. That's just crazy. Hope you get mobile soon.
3rd accident she had been in recently.
Glad everyone is okay. Cars are replaceable. You my friend, are not.
Oh, and it looks like your mirror was untouched at least.
Heckuva thing to wake up to. Glad no one was hurt!

No seat belt
I don't "get" the no seat belt theory......sorry to hear about your wrecked truck.
Yea I don't get it either. ScreaminE, my wife just said the same thing. The truck was cheap and I did all the work, so I'm thinking it may have been a gain. We'll see.
This happened to my sister a few years ago. Guy took out both their cars and parked his in their front yard. Insurance took care of them. Good luck. Hope you come out ahead. That girl should trade in her license for a bus pass.
Is the focus at least salvageable? Glad that you weren't in the bed anymore. You should look for early GM 4.8 2wd trucks.
Focus is salvageable and driveable. It will be fixed.
Up next, a "what car" thread.
I guess you could call it the Danger Ranger.
Glad you guys are ok.
Damn man, glad your ok that really does suck though
Damn, that sucks. Nice lookin' truck too.
That'll buff out..
Glad you weren't in the driveway.
Now to pull the front axle shafts out of the F150. I need something to drive.
Sorry to see this, you just found a replacement mirror a while back, might want to park in the alley.
My brother two upped this girl years ago, he "fell asleep" went in between two car pushing both into other cars then mowed down the chain link fence smashed the block stair case into a million pieces and pinned the front door close. Then fled the scene. The final tally was three car's were total loss the forth was about $5K in damages and about $15K in other damages, this was in the early 90'S BTW. State farm till this day will not even talk to him about insurance.
That road does not appear to have any turns at all - what are the odds of wandering off right at your house?
I guess you drew the short straw. In any case - sorry for how you woke up today. Atleast the cars kept it it from making it into your house.

three car, one fents, one steerz, one dur
I always worry about something like this happening to me, I'd be ruined, all my cars have third-party-only insurance.

Yep, that mirror looks just fine, so they were right. I also live on a completely straight stretch of road. The amount of wrecks on it completely astounds me. If it were possible, I'd be parking behind the house instead of on the street.

you forgot about the burshes.
I think a pretty good rule is that any car parked on a street with through traffic will have someone drive straight into the back of it at double the posted speed limit.
