The alleged "labor savings" to builders is imaginary (like some other "labor saving" products).
The reality to a builder is that his framer charges him by the square foot, and will not give a discount for using a more expensive material he is not familiar with.
The "savings" is a sales pitch from manufacturers of products like that. In theory it is real, but in practice it is a wash.
