All that auto manufactures are looking for global architecture. They want to be able to produce a car that sells well on every continent. Pairing up with a successful automaker across the pond (where buyers are much more style conscience) is a great.
I wish PSA had of bought out a bit of Chevy instead. Maybe then GM would make something decent other the Corvette.
