I'm really upset right now. We've had years of embarrassment, that sucks.
We've had years of stupidity, venal behavior, bigotry, open racism, and generally E36 M3ty behavior. It sucks but hey, "elections have consequences right?
But the Syria Kurd situation is so far beyond. Hundreds of people dead. Thousands wounded. Thousands raped. Tens of thousands displaced. All dismissed with a sound bite of "they just needed a little rough love". The Cheeto needs to be tried for berkeleying war crimes. I'm so pissed at this E36 M3 I'm unable to constrain myself. If the powers that be feel the need to lock this thread, fine. But this cannot continue. It just can't.

As a Veteran and a human being I agree with everything you said here. I generally shy away from all political threads, here and everywhere else, but this basic human rights.
This is beyond politics. Prominent members of the President own party are staunchly against this whole situation.
Selling out our allies who helped defeat ISIS for a foreign power to invade them? Letting all of the prisoners loose to reform the caliphate? Brokering a "peace deal" that removes people from their native lands?
I wish I lived in 1984's future. It was kinder than this reality.
