That is a very board statement. I mean I almost guarantee that there is some sport out there that some teams do better in the playoffs. It just might not be a common sport and for that matter not all sports even have a normally post season

...and FWIW, the Packers do have on-field cheerleaders as well--they have the squad from UWGB cheer at home games, but because they are not part of the Packer organization, they did not make the trip to Dallas.
These are cheerleaders, unlike most NFL squads which are pom-pon girls.
You can be a hater all you want, but the Packers are the most storied team in the whole NFL. More Championships than anyone. Ever try getting a ticket to a home game in GB? Every game, including pre season,is a sellout...since 1960. The waiting list for season tickets is like 30 years...and anyone who has been there will say that it is the best place in the NFL to experience a football game. The team is owned by the city--so there is no fear that the Packers can move in the middle of the night...the Packers will always be in Green Bay. Its the only franchise in professional sports that is set up this way. Green Bay and Wisconsin can call the Packers 'our team' because it really is. Wisconsin is a football crazy place, and there is not a more supportive fan base anywhere. So when we support the team, we are not supporting some egocentric owner like Jerry Jones or Dan Snyder...
I have nothing against the Steelers. They just are not my team. The Rooney family has been good for them, their city and the NFL. They have a tradition too--it happens to be more rooted in the last 40 years...that is fine.
Quite honestly, this matchup makes for the most historically significant one possible...and it will be fun come tomorrow.
