A little bragging for a friend is in order. I met my buddy George when he came into my shop one day to have a Bradshaw jersey framed. After plenty of Steeler talk, he says "Hey, you and your wife should come over and watch the game Sunday."
I had no idea what to expect, but when I pulled up and saw the black and gold PT cruiser in the driveway, along with inflatable Steeler guys and a Steeler easy-up for the smokers, I knew I was in the right place.
Anyway, this was several years ago, and we've been good friends ever since. These folks throw a party for EVERY 1:00 game during the season. We usually get 20-30 people, more if it's a Super Bowl party.
The spread of food that shows up is generally enough to feed an army, and every season, George has I-don't-know-how-many pounds of Kielbasa shipped from Da'burg.
Touchdowns and field goals are celebrated with an old fire station siren that's loud enough to make your ears bleed.
Anyway, I got an email from George this morning. One of the members of the club sent some pics. of George's place to the Post-Gazette, and they contacted him for an interview.
Pics are not the greatest quality, but you get the idea. The framed Bradshaw jersey is in one of the pics. Last pic. is my favorite. I'll be closing up the shop early for the first time in years to head over and watch our boys beat up on Stabbin' Ray and the girls this afternoon.
GO STEELERS!!!

Mr. Lewis is one reason I'd like to see an ATL vs BAL Superbowl.
We just don't need no durn yankee to tarnish the reputation of this town. We're capable of doing it on our own!
And great job on the framing, Poop!. I'll bring you some business when funding allows it!
Yep going to be NY at Baltimore next week because .... Well how can I put this ......
Steelers SUCK and are going to lose by two points watch and see

go steelers?
straight to hell maybe.
the best outcome of a steelers ravens game is both teams die in fiery bus crashes on the way to the stadium and take out a bunch of carfulls of their annoying frontrunning fairweather fans with them.
am i kidding? nobody knows but me.

The Browns toilet paper didn't make it into the shot.
I'm hoping for a Steelers/Falcons Superbowl, followed by a cab-ride to and from downtown ATL.

QFT - although in this particular situation I think the Dirty Birds are the lesser evil.
You wanna see some fairweather fans, go to Tampa. We made the 9 hour drive down back in October to meet up with 50,000 or so of our closest friends...and the Succaneers STILL couldn't sell out the stadium. Pathetic.

I will give steeler fans credit they are NOT fair weather at all they are well known for traveling far and long.
3:20 not much longer till another Ravens win

the fairweather steeler fans are all the ones who are not from pgh who jumped on the bandwagon when they got good again.
Chalk up another for the Stealers.
And all this time I thought i was the Steelers biggest fan. Wow, I suck at fanaticism.
Your avatar is Yellow and Black. Add a towel, your in.
That was a good effing game! Now watching the Falcons bobble and fail. Common birdies!

Nice to see the Steelers get over the early mistakes and get rid of the Ravens. Looking forward to a good Pats/Steelers AFC championship game

No kidding! The Packers seem to be playing at the top of their game and the Falcons are just choking. WTF?

OMG, I still can't believe what a blowout the Pack game was.
I thought we'd win, but not by that much.

Back to the Steelers though, that second half was mighty impressive. I had my doubts going into half time on whether they could pull it out.
That was easily the worst played game of football I have ever seen... Way to go Falcons, you earned disdain from a Lions fan... :(

Just quoting this for amusement.
I'm calling a rematch of Super Bowl XXI: Patriots vs. Packers.
Not a good year to be a fan of a football team with a bird mascot (aside for the Seahawks). Rodgers was en fuego tonight!
I want the Pats to annihilate the Jests again, just because I'm sooooo sick of the manufactured hype.
