Grmer Hal passed away

Hi guys, 

Wanted to share this news that came up today in a local subaru group. 

I didnt know Hal personally and only met him once at a subaru meet  earlier this year, but I have seen him around the forums for years. 

Nice guy, terrible news.

Sad news. I seem to recall him mentioned some health issues once in awhile although my google skills have failed me in turning up anything.

Sad news. He always had good things to contribute here.

John, thanks for sharing the link. I clicked over on his profile page to discover he shared the same profession and birth year as my Dad.

I was fortunate to meet Hal in person last May.  He was a good guy.  RIP Hal.

I'll drink one for Hal tonight.

Wow, he just posted about his lifted Outback a few days ago. He will be missed.

I'm very sorry to hear this. I'll always remember his crazy turbo Focus and he was the only person I knew with the passenger Ford Transit Connect. He'll be missed. :-(

Too soon. From reading his posts he still had plenty of things he wanted to do. RIP 

Thoughts to his close friends and family.  I kind of recall him mentioning a health issue, I think. I wish I had noticed more.  He was a good guy.

Is there anything any of us can do to help those left holding the pieces?  At the least, a card and some flowers from “The Board” might be nice.
