I might actually field a car in the challenge this year.  Not mine.  Captdownshift has a hookup with a car that wouldn't otherwise be going.

Since you all are so near and dear to my heart (and I wouldn't have made it this far without all of you), I figured you could all have some input on my team name.

Since I live on Berkley St and because I'm a complete amateur racer, I thought Berkeley Racing might be fun.  You guys would all get the joke but I wouldn't offend all the little old ladies with a big F___ Racing on the side of my trailer.  So that's what I might go with unless you all have a better idea.  Some things about me off the top of my head....

  1. I live on Berkley St
  2. I like beer and whiskey
  3. My nicknames vary geographically, but include Kraft, The Hairy German, Curtong, and Curty Bird
  4. I work at a live performance theater
  5. I wear skirts sometimes, because berkeley gender/fashion stereotypes
  6. I'm a classically trained singer
  7. I drive a van that looks like it should say Free Candy

Sounds like a dating profile.  I'm a Libra and I like long walks on the beach.

So I have it narrowed down to two.

Berkeley Racing "If it falls off, I guess we didn't need it."

or

Ad Lib Racing  "We make it up as we go along"

I said "Team Winging It" in the other thread, but then I was curious about the origins of that phrase, so I looked it up. Apparently it's not from birds, or airplanes, but from theater; performers preparing hastily in the wings to the side of the stage, and/or receiving whispered instructions from said wings. laugh

Alternatively, you could be "Skirting The Rules" cheeky
