ugg makes me squemmish... I always did the (tip motorcycle upright and roll back, spray, move back a little more then spray... just have to be careful to not overspray onto the tire... or run the tire over the oil slick... makes the bike get real squirly for that 1st turn...

That happened to my dad when I was a kid. Luckily he got it reattached.
This guy was just cartoon stupid. I was expecting some sort of semi-negligible mistake, but sticking your hand in a whirring internal-combustion-powered drive chain? That's one step below sticking your hand under a lawnmower on the stupid scale.
Did anyone flash back to the post about polishing rims with some jackstands, the car in gear and a scotchbrite pad? That was my first reaction then too. Like we say around our shop: " stupid oughta hurt" and it usually does!
Shock is a beautiful thing. Makes pain go away. Sort of.

I watched the little kid throw his razor sharp metal boomerang and the one dude tried to catch it and it chopped off a few finger tips. You got to see nubs in the air.
