Brought my Dad back to Myrtle Beach last night.
The drive was terrible. Lots of road closings, flooding, etc. Normally a 3 hour drive, took 10 hours.
Law enforcement did a horrendous job of traffic management. It was clear the worst traffic was because of their mismanagement.
The neighborhood was a mess. My father didn’t even recognize his own house when we pulled into the driveway.
Dad’s house had a tree on it, but minimal damage to the house.
Tons of yard and roof cleanup.
Inside has a lot of mildew and pests. It’s infested with bugs.
Everything in the fridge was rotted and moldy.
