Me too.  Was fully expecting pool ball in the tookus.  Leaving disapointed.

I saw a movie where Chuck Norris took out a whole pool hall of tough guys with a cue ball in a sock.    She must be a Chuck Norris fan.

I wondered why they kept showing us different angles of its magnificence.

Remember, for a stereotype to begin it must be rooted in some plausibility.

Can confirm, I'm from a tame part of the state and nothing about this story seemed unreasonable to me. 

I once charged a guy with whacking his brother-in-law with a frozen turkey on Thanksgiving.  The argument, perhaps ironically, was about which one forgot to start thawing the turkey out in time for dinner. 

This was in Michigan, for the record. 

Is Kentucky like Arkansas then?  As in:

How is an Arkansas Divorce like a Tornado?  Either way, someone's gonna lose a trailer.

Kentucky also has a fierce rivalry with Indiana as to who has the stupider citizens. Sample joke I learned as a Kentuckian: "If we threw our stupidest people across the river, the IQ of both states would go up."
