Sell the 94 Corvette.  I find that living at the end of a steep 7-mile long unpaved road means I don't use it as much as I thought I would (rocks from road grading, mag chloride treatments to keep dust down, mud after rains, yadda, yadda...).  My AW11 MR2 is much more practical, and except for the power, I prefer it, so I don't need two sports cars. I plan to keep the MR2 forever.  It's 13 below right now, so the Vette goes on sale in May.

With my baritone sax arriving in two weeks, giving me the full set, I need to build up my jazz chops (I'm OK with rock, blues, country and concert band) and get comfortable in what for horn players are unusual keys - Db and Ab in particular, (the bari and alto are Eb instruments, which means they play with three more sharps than guitars.  Tenor and Soprano are Bb, which is only two extra sharps.).  Lots of shedding  ahead.

House upkeep, particularly painting the deck, laundry room and back stairs.

Getting our estate planning in order.  With no kids or other relatives, need to get this set up.

Finish several writing projects that are hanging.

Exercise more regularly.

Put together a wood shop.

Buy good metal lathe and tooling, get Bridgeport running.

Finish foundry build, start metal casting. 3D printer as part II.

1.) I’ve decided to not let the lack of finding a good drummer prevent me from progressing with music. So I’ve started writing more songs, finishing ones I’d previously started, and rearranging others for solo bass. My goal is to get up to Nashville and record it all, probably next year, with or without a band.

2.) Make at least the 7-event minimum at Delta region autocrosses so I’ll be in the running for a year-end trophy.

3.) Ride my bike more.

You can hire a band for recording, my uncle was planning on a blues album with the Muscle Shoals rhythm section and for a few songs it wasnt too terrible, not great but not mortgage your house spendy

Well, my main goal is to spend 5 hours per week working on projects (and document it!)

But, inspired by reflection in the screwdriver thread and the recent breakage of my craftsman c3 battery, I will also refuse to buy a single cheap crappy tool in 2019.

PS, battery still works great as a battery, but the clips that hold it in to the tool have busted. So one hand can run the drill or sawzall, but the other needs to hold the battery in. Yep, basically useless now. Grrr.

Finish the interior of my house - still some trim pieces and wall board to install - work left over from the Harvey flood rebuild.

New convertible top for the MSM plus add  roll bar.

My good buddy's wife has an excellent '63 Corvair convertible that has been sitting in their garage for 3 years.  - I promised to get it running again for her.  Needs a steering box, which is the reason they parked it, not to mention: oil/filter change, drain and replace the old gasoline, de-gum the carburetor.

Clean out my garage so at least one car fits into it.

Read the complete and unabridged Le Miserables (by Victor Hugo).

Keep weight lifting and bike riding as much as my 61 year old joints allow.
