I bought some toy trains on shopgoodwill.com and they're local pickup only.

It's a long way from PA to NC and I don't really want to do a road trip given the circumstances.
I'll pitch you a few extra bucks on top of the shipping costs for your trouble. I guess how it works is they're doing scheduled pick-ups so we would have to coordinate the date/time and select it in their little form here.

I'll be driving somewhat near there Friday but won't have time to divert that way. Sorry 13 hour trip doesn't leave time for side trips. What end of PA? For some reason I thought you were NJ.
In reply to Stampie (FS) :
Western PA, near Pittsburgh.
I am about 30 minutes from the location. I can help out with pickup and shipping, if we can sort out timing.
Call or pm me.
Ha! I knew you couldn't resist. Hope everything works out. That's one hell of a deal.
Goodwill usually gives you a week to pick up an item after the auction closes. Might be longer due to Tha Rona. Call them. They are super nice to deal with. (Well, at least the one in Rockford, Illinois)

Yeah, the track pieces alone should be more than worth it, and the rest will be fun to go through and see what works and what needs work. Thanks for the heads up!
Steve, if you can get it to michael he can get it to stampie friday who can get it to me friday night and then slowbird and i can coordinate a visit?
Oh man, we had a big crew from Pittsburgh at the autocross in Charlotte this weekend. Or maybe it was last weekend, I can't remember.
A big box of train stuff arrived today. Thanks Steve!
