About 25 years ago, I heard a co worker describing watching a video of one of these world record attempts.

Without getting graphic, it sounded like one of those 1980s Soviet bread lines.  More like five or six seconds per attendee, so that 24h probably included breaks.

Probably not.

The best contraceptive is 99.9% effective.  In other numbers, that's a 1/1000 chance.

For some inexplicable reason, I fail to see the appeal of such ... gatherings.
