I'm jealous... if we ever design and build our own place on a bigger piece of land something like that would be really nice to have (in addition to a larger shop garage), it would mean that none of The Dancer's non-profit props/equipment would have to be in the garage...

Two wins today! First is that all five of us got our tests back today and we're wuhan-free! Although, positive tests wouldn't have really been the end of the world - at least we would have been done with it one way or another.
Second win is that the Toiletbird Industries DIY Air Scrubber Mk I is complete and has passed the smoke test!
Now I just need to make 3 more of them!
Laying on the couch, baby is fast asleep on my chest, medium-size labradog mutt is on my legs resting his head very carefully against baby’s feet (they’re buddies now,) small-size poodle mutt is on my feet.
I may be stuck at home waiting for Covid test results so I can go back to work, but at least I have good company.

2021 PAX is out. My class (Xtreme Street B) got muuuuuch better (from 0.864 to 0.856)
I'm about to pull the trigger on some Kato Unitrack. I've been itching to do a micro layout for a couple of years. It starts now.

My middle sister and her spawn aren't coming to Thanksgiving.
My kids high school football team just won its first state title in 104 years! Watched the game with my kids on tv and they loved it! Seeing there middle school coaches down there helping the high school.
The entire interior is cleaned and dyed. It no longer smells like an ashtray!
Uncle Casey just bought a (used) CRF70 for the hellspawn for Christmas. The little E36 M3 is only 5 months old.
Today I did some reloading with my dad today for the first time in years. 7.2gr of Unique works just as well in the Blackhawk as I remember too.
With how this year started, being able to do this with my dad is huge to me.

The last of the suspension parts I ordered will here by tomorrow. That means I can get my suspension update done with I'm on vacation this week.
Got an ND RF in for service.
This is a win because now I no longer want one. The dashboard is too bulky so I have nowhere to put my shins.
Sold the E46 coupe front seat I picked up months ago before realizing that I couldn't use it in the convertible- the guy that bought it is going to use it as the seat for his e-racing rig, which I thought was a pretty neat idea.
In reply to Ashyukun (Robert) :
I did that with the driver's seat from my Subaru, and my Formula Force wheel. It was awesome except for one thing: It felt weird not wearing a seatbelt.
Someone on rec.autos.driving suggested wearing suspenders. Sure enough, it felt "right".

Found out this morning that DW and I have COVID.
Why is this in the minor win thread?
Because 10 days since onset of symptoms and so far it's pretty much been a mild cold for us. About my only remaining symptom is some lingering fatigue. DW is about the same but she's still fighting some sinus congestion. She's been 24-48 hours behind me all along.
We've been very lucky throughout all of this. Very lucky.
In reply to Duke :
Congratulations in a weird way, once I got through it I've been a little more comfortable.

Hnnnngh! The rest is on its way
In reply to Duke :
I hope it stays mild and you both recover quickly!
The electric Razor scooter I scored from the neighbors 3 years ago works! They had set it out for free with a note that said bad battery and I snagged it. Been hanging in the garage since until my 4 year old demanded I fixed it. $24 Amazon batteries later and it's working great. Kids absolutely love this thing. Because of that my son is getting a Razor dirt bike for Christmas.
Been holding off on saying anything out of concern of jinxing it... but The Dog hasn't bled at all since getting up this morning, so we're being cautiously optimistic that the drain location has finally healed shut and our house will stop looking like a crime scene. Happened a day earlier than I was betting on- I was figuring that it would stop when we got up tomorrow right before going in to the vet's to have his stitches out. Though with our luck, when they remove the stitches it will somehow open the drain wound back up...
My 9 year old daughter was given a sign-name by one of our deaf friends yesterday. In Deaf culture, that's a pretty big deal.
I picked up a mid school GT Mach Two today. It isn't the Redline 500C that I used to have but it will be a nice old school compliment to my Sunday when I get it fixed up. (sorry for the busy picture, I literally just rolled it into the garage.)
More winning, after reading this mag for 12 years, this forum for months and posting here and there the last post finally turned me from "New Reader" to "Reader"

Thank you mate, it definitely is, I've been lusting after a decent space for years, so glad I was able to make it happen.
