I am going to refinish the wheels on my 2012 X5 (e70). They are pretty chewed up, mostly from the PO, and detract from the overall condition of the car. Since I'm going to refinish them, I'm thinking about a color change - either going with a darker grey/charcoal or a little bit more adventurous with a bronze/gold color. Would one of you be willing to preview each for me? I've included my car, plus the colors I'm thinking about. Open to other suggestions as well!

Here's a quick and dirty chop:

If it was me, I'd go for a light / medium bronze.

I'm digging the bronze too. I wonder if the gold from the M2 Cs would be too much.

In reply to dyintorace :

Depends on how glossy it is.  When I was doing that chop, I passed through a brighter gold color on the way to bronze, and it looked good.

However, I am not a fan of super shiny wheels.

I don't have a picture but I used Duplicolor Bronze wheel paint and VHT satin clear on some wheels and they came out great.

Edit:  Found one not so great pic on my phone.

I'm definitely thinking bronze or something on the way to gold is the right way to go. I'll end up sending them out to get done, as there is a fair amount of curb rash that needs to be fixed prior to painting them.
