Found the super TH Superbird! I was grabbing everyone in sight, and one looked a bit off. Bingo!
Sorry I still have six super evos.
Have we all seen the "urban outlaw" Porsche coming soon to a retailer near you?
I don't buy Hot Wheels, but I saw a nice realistic-looking VW Caddy at the grocery store last night.
Orange VW
Yellow Huracan
Blue Aston Vantage GT3
Red '52 Chevy
While I was picking them out a dude comes over and starts pawing through the bins talking about being a "collector" who has over 3,000 cars and that I should buy one that has flames that only he can see. I hope it wasn't one of you guys.
Let's talk about 2016, we have a new series coming in the adult line. It's called "car culture". As it stands now we won't see it untill late 2016 early 2017 as the redline/real rider series winds down. Each case will be a series of cars from a single culture. JDM racers have been previewed but there is talk of a SoCal lowrider series and a drag strip series. I am looking forward to this!
In the mainline the sneaks are showing a 710 with a blower out the hood, a Magnus walker 356 and a new Viper ACR. Shaping up to be another good year.

I just wanted to let you know they came in orange, too. Nabbed my orange one on K-Day last year.
The annual charity auction to benefit stray animals was this past weekend. I scored a handful of autographed items again, Rolex24hr poster with many drivers, driving gloves, photos, etc. But this was my big purchase.
1/18 scale Indy car signed by Kurt Busch.
Remember, if you sen in 20 UPCs from Walmart cars, you can get a bitchin' 57 Chevy. Need to be bought by Dec 15(?)
what to do on a rainy saturday? baby taking a nap so time to start cutting up some hotwheels. Some pretty basic stuff while I figure out what im doing here..
Need to get the proper solvent to strip the tampos off the orange truck so its just simple and clean. I dig it with the poverty spec hubcap wheels, they're smaller so it sits lower too. Mean street machine stance for the red one now, lowered the front to match the rake of the tires. I need to put some sort of spacers in between the wheels and the chassis. The axle is longer, so the wheels flop around, but i want to keep the full width of this axle for the wide stance, would be nice to keep everything centered. The red ones obviously a matchbox and was part of a 5 piece set of farm related vehicles. Nephew will get the rest of those.
Once i get somewhat more familiar with basic hotwheels mods, I'll attempt to restore some trashed ones from my youth and restomod some of the old beaten ones I have from the grandparents house.
Sidenote: How awesome are these wheels? I dont know much about them but was going to swap them onto something else. This is certainly a 90's era hotwheels from when my brothers were little. Wheels will likely get painted silver, the front ones are chrome but the back ones are painted silver, seems odd they wouldnt match.
Supporting Small Business Saturday... The 1/18 Porsche was $30 at the store in Bellbrook but the owner took off $5 for some paint discoloration (that I didn't even see). The Lambo is actually an old Hotwheel and from the other store in Moraine. (The hobby shop got my $ Wednesday night at the slot car race so I figured they were good.)
I picked up the Simpsons family car the other day at Krogers. It's going to be a stocking stuffer for my son.
Yup. Any time I find one of a car that a friend of mine has I buy it and give it to them. People love it, I seem thoughtful, and it costs a buck.
