I saw them in Gainesville FL in the 90s, one of the early shows with Derek Trucks. Despite it all, the musicianship was still at a high level. Gregg had his demons for sure but it was still sad to see his health fail in later years. To her credit, it is rumored that Cher helped him a great deal financially toward the end.
