The accident report dropped today, thankfully no surprises there. Other driver was ticketed for passing on the right, and the good news is they have insurance. Wish me luck as I start a claim with State Farm.

Took the RAV4 to the adjuster/repair shop this week, and it came back as repairable! Repairs were estimated at $4k plus tax, so the total bill was $4200. Looks like the crazy COVID used car valuations just might save it! Work is scheduled to start in February (next available date).

Congrats on getting the outcome you wished for.
My 2012 Golf R was just repaired to the tune of $6000+. It was already a salvage title and I bought it for $13k. Original repair quote was $3k but after the bumper cover came off there was more damage to be seen. They originally wanted to total it.
I would have bought it back and put the $10k of goodies into another one.
