Don't know about Scott, but one of my cycling friends had a blood clot take him during a training ride a couple of years ago. By the time he started feeling something wrong it was maybe a couple of hours. He was 39 and in very good physical condition.

I am 42. I tend to think people my age shouldn't just die all of a sudden. Way too young.

Wow. He was a genuinely nice guy. I never met him personally, but he bought a few parts from me for his 944 Turbo. We would always talk about stuff we saw on this forum when he called.

It's been a while since I spoke to him, but he would occasionally send me e-mails.

I know I will miss Pidge. Motor on, Scott.

I always enjoyed his threads and comments, especially as a fellow BMW enthusiast. So sorry for the family's loss.

Terrible, terrible news. So sudden, and too damn young. Regards to the family, it's got to be tough when it's this sudden.
