You let him deal with the grey area and have nothing to do with it. Suggest he do what is legal.

Thee are people here in SC that support themselves by getting boat titles for people. It's THAT difficult here. I gave away a hull because of it.

spoke with him yesterday afternoon and we are planning to meet up on friday so that i can get the affidavit from him. hopefully it is all in order, otherwise i might suggest to him that his granfather had already signed the title, and we just didn't see it before.

Got a laugh and a half out of this one not too long ago with a certain out of state snowmobile registration. I needed the signature of the owner (again). I'm bemoaning he's not here. Twice she had to remind me that she was pretty sure I'd said he was out back in my car, waiting for me.

Sometimes I'm a little thick. It wasn't until she said it real slow...looking at me like I'm at the low end of the IQ scale that I finally got it.

Went out back to see the owner, who'd I'd forgotten was sitting in my car waiting for me. Came back in, and everything was fine.
