Covering the 1960s in my US history surveys, so I broke out a few things to get their attention, including this. Note that I do not impose any political bias into my classes - while a clearly political song from a very political band, this is simply offered as such and as a representation of the musical themes of the time; the students can interpret it any way they like, and I encourage them to do so. Politics aside, it's a hell of good song.
