Has the Workhorse W-15 Plug-In Pickup been discussed yet?

7200 lbs, that is heavy beast.

Im curious how it will tow and what kind of range it will have while towing.

The backup generator is also interesting.

Yeah, but that comes with all the benefits of a proper 3/4 ton pickup.

This truck is smaller than a 1/2 ton by all measurements other than weight.

Batteries don't have a specific energy anywhere near that of pump gas, so even accounting for the increased efficiency of a EV powertrain with regenerative braking you literally need a ton of batteries to give a pickup truck a usable range.

Sure, but that weight won't keep it from doing what it has to do. Heck, if a truck manufacturer does anything to make a truck lighter the others mock them!
