1983 c10 377/4 speed and 1975 Scout XLC

My uncle is looking to build a garage so his trucks are for sale.  Location is Brunswick ohio, contact me and i’ll get you in touch with him.

number one is a grandpa fresh 1983 c10. It has never seen salt and he’s the 2nd owner.  Original owner was a snowbird so it went back and forth to florida.  Factory 250 3 speed truck now has a 377(400 block with 350 stroke) small block with a 4 speed(i believe m20, and it’s rebuilt). Grandpa cap, seat was clearanced for car shifter location and reupholstered by local shop.  There are very small rust spots here and there, mainly a couple pinholes in the leading edge of the hood and a couple on the door sills.  Original paint.  Tires are 2-3 years old.  It’s been stored every winter since he got it.  Total sleeper, hilarious to see it leave as hard as it does while looking like a little old man should be driving it.  $6700/negotiable.  (Yes i know I should buy it, no i am not buying it)

Truck 2 1975 International Scout XLC.  Truck got new quarters and rockers in 1997ish, quarters still nice but rockers perforated.  Showing the age of the bodywork, the windshield frame is rusting at the cowl on both sides and the passenger a pillar needs a brace at the lower door hinge.  It has a meyers plow, but he only ever did his driveway except that one time he came and bailed me out when i got my plow truck stuck.  Definitely a good candidate to do the bodywork it needs and paint it nice.  Soft top is shot.  Tires are probably every bit of 15 years old.  Chevy 4 bolt main 350 with adapter to the original 727 trans, trans rebuilt very few miles ago, locking rear diff, brand new aluminum radiator and fresh rebuilt carb.  $3200/negotiable.  

Wow, $3200 for the Scout seems more than fair!  If you don't need a plow, sell off the subframe, pump etc. and it becomes a $2200 Scout.

Agreed, if I didn’t have so much on my plate i would do the bodywork and paint it nice and ask 12k

i believe he has paperwork for all the components in the 377 in the c10.  I think it’s going to storage this weekend.  He got a decent deal on a storage unit for the time being.  The other reason these are expendable is he got a stupid deal on a leftover 2017 silverado.

Update:  scout is pending sale.  

C10 he exploded the trans in yesterday so it’s coming off the market currently.  He doesn’t drive it like it looks it’s driven.
