You’ve really been following Vettes lately. I’d say this is a good one to get, though I’m not sure about the price.

There’s some talk about this car over on the registry. Consensus is it’s not one of the 8 Black Widow cars but seems to be one flavor or another of DRM-modded cars. It will take a call to DRM to track down what it was built as but all the cars they did in-shop were pretty great.

Rippie has done some work on several friends corvettes in the area. Those things are scary.

I'm pretty sure this car came up a few years ago for sale needing engine work.  Randy Rippie replied on the Corvette Forum that the car is not a Black Widow car but that the owner had the original paperwork from when Vaughn sold the package and Doug signed off on it calling it the Widow Maker.  If the engine work has been done and it's an old DRM build it is probably a pretty sweet car, price seems a bit high but I'm a cheapskate. Discussion on the car from a few years back on Corvette Forum.  https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c4-zr-1-discussion/2166110-1992-widow-maker-zr-1-on-ebay.html
