It's an absolute blast to drive and gets great mpg when daily driving. I originally bought it to use as a daily driver but missed driving my truck so it has become a toy that mostly sits unused.
Mechanically it's perfect, I recently replaced the plugs, air filter, and valve cover gasket. Everything is stock except for the horn which the previous owner replaced with a louder unit and a Flyin' Miata sway bar. The mx-5 drives great and shifts smoothly. It has Yokohama S.drive tires, 195/50/15, that grip the road fantastically which have plenty of tread left. Also there's a JVC radio. There are a couple issues, the clear coat is peeling at a few spots and the convertible top needs to be repaired or replaced as the rear glass window is loose.
