I messaged him about them. They are 15x10s, not the 10 inch diameter I was hoping for. He says he has lots of compounds in the ad but just be warned that the standard circle track 15x10s can be quite hard and relatively large in diameter. 

We never did a true back to back, but seat of the pants difference was huge on the challenge AMC spirit between circle track takeoffs and formula atlantic takeoffs (both of which are readily available from multiple advertisers in the back of GRM for about $50/tire). 

Keep in mind that many asphalt circle track cars run hour long races with 3000+ lb cars at high slip angles the entire race. That's gonna be a hard tire that won't have time to heat up during an autox run.

I don't think there is ;)  - but letting a pro go '3-in-a-row' does a pretty good job for most tires!
