50? How much money have you thrown at this game?
I have somewhere around 50 tanks myself... I've spent about the same as I would have on a year of COD with DLC maps and crap... garage slots are cheap especially when 1/2 off... also you can earn them from time to time with challenges and those help... the key is you've got to be tier4 and above for most of the events.
edit just checked... 62 tanks total (including the 3 event tanks we have right now)
24 tanks are premium or special tanks, 3 tier8 premiums
overall... tier9 - 1 tier8 - 8 tier7 - 11 tier6 - 15 tier5 - 11 tier4 - 6 tier3 - 3 tier2 - 3 (all premium/special) tier1 - 1
I follow the rule of never sell a prem/special... even the crappy german one we got for new years I used to help train a crew up for my german scout line... I keep at least one "normal" matchmaking tank in each tier so I can platoon with anyone at any given time.
some tanks are "keepers" others are just working though to other tanks especially at tier4 and lower... but no matter what... keep in mind that it's not a race to the highest tier... i've got almost 10k battles and still don't have a 10... (should have one researched right about the time I get to 10k battles but won't buy it for a while as they are 6 million credits lol.

I have probably spent about the same as you, but most of what I have spent has been from redeeming speedway rewards points for Xbox cards.....when you have a thirsty pedovan with a corporate fuel card, those points tend to rack up really quick.
And the garage slot deals to look for are the 10spaces for 1500gold or something like that.
They are on xbox, not p.c.
You did better than me, I don't think I found anyone. I sent off some friend requests, but they may have gone to non grmers with similar names.
Picked up a German tier 2 spg, kazzerpufferyannerzjagg OICU812 or some such nonsense.
It is delightfully evil fun being sky cancer.

Its even funnier when you end a match having never moved your arty yet have more spotter points than anyone else.
I was playing hide from the enemy the other day in a BT-2. There was a guy in front of me that just couldn't kill one just over the hill and was about to die.
I told him to back up and not die, just wait for the opportunity to tap them.
after I topped the hill I saw why he was getting his arse handed to him. There were 3 mediums. Not just the one I saw
I went up the gut and turned them into a solo track. Got 2 of three and had the last one to 32% when he got me.
That was fun. Got a few medals out of it too!!!

That is how to do it with light tanks, mobility is their greatest strength. It also teaches you how to outrun opponents gun turrets close in along with some nifty evasion skills(like making opponents miss/ricochet)
I watched a guy in a T23 premium(tier 7 medium with the 76mm m1a2) take down 2 Tier 6 heavies(Both were TOG II's) while they were right next to each other.....he circled them until he had amassed 2800 damage.
I need to get my guys experience up to get the thing to turn, but I see now all I was doing wrong before.

The tactical learning curve will take you awhile. But sometimes the best course of action is to rush out, cause chaos, and buy you team extra time as well.
I just hate when I get on a team that doesn't talk
You can tell when you are against a team that does talk
You get wiped out quick
cicrcling heavies is so fun :)
i'm a scout/med player... playing LT is all about abuse of view range and camo... keep yourself alive as it's mid/late game where you can easily find those loner tanks and just destroy them
Here's your useless trivia for the day, WOT has a clothing/T-shirt line: https://www.jinx.com/shop/coll/worldoftanks/cat/clothing/clothing/tshirt/
Here's my favorite:
Just so happens to be on sale.
It's fun being arty but it's tough not being able to run over and assist a teammate who's in trouble.
I like being a knight more than a rook. :)

Just wait until you get the FV304.....then you'll be able to. Most people I see using those run around with the lights shotgunning things.
FV304 (bert) IMHO is the only really fun arty... I have a few others (tier5 US, tier6 french, and saving for tier7 russian) but it's the last fun tank type in the game due to huge dependence on RNG and lack of flexibility... if I want to play the RNG game I'd rather the kv2
as for running around with lights in the bert... not so much anymore... at least on PC it was heavily nerfed... it's traverse speed was cut in 1/2 and it has much worse gun bloom while traverse or moving and it shoots slower than it used to... I never played it pre nerf though... as it stands it's very fast on flat ground in a straight line... it has a very high arch so it can hit things that you wouldn't otherwise
but I did finish all of the stug IV SPG missions with nothing but the bishop and bert... the bishop is based on the valentine chassis so it's very very slow... but like bert only has a 500m shot range... but it has the same gun, same alpha, and a faster reload at a tier down...
with either one follow the heavies and stay about 400-500 meters behind them and hope they hold the hordes back... with bert you can turn and run... with the valentine you just try and shotgun a time or two before you go boom
I have ace mastery games of both posted in this playlist somewhere https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HxS02hCk1g&list=PLbHFo02zE68sQTsvJ8X6Eqd_FIXMBmF22
Wow. Using my T1 Cunningham, LolTractor and MS-1 I was able to get my winrate back above 50%. Some wins, some losses. Then I hopped in my Sherman and was on the receiving end of 5 consecutive steamrolls.
Anything above tier 2 is really starting to lose it's lustre.
I have a BT-2 and love that thing. I like it better than the BT-7 I have.
I just wish these guys would communicate in the matches.
A World of Tanks appropriate meme popped into my head the other day. It has probably been posted several times by several other people years ago but I don't care.
"Brace yourselves, summer is coming."
yup exact same thing was posted on the wot forums not long back... summer kiddies is SOOOO fun lol.... been playing a lot of tier8+ and will only slum down to tier5 and lower if I'm platooned... lot less window lickers in the 8+
I get murdered by the window lickers...so I guess I'm an outlet licker.
It's funny, you look at the kids as cannon fodder and I'm cannon fodder for the kids.
the problem isn't the glass lickers on the other team... it's the ones on your team... sure there are real bad baddies on the other team that I can take advantage of, shooting them without ever being spotted but even the tomatoes have guns that can do dmg to me if they do see me...
